Milkha alleged that his life is in danger, and someone is carrying out his recce. He also claimed that his car is also being followed by someone daily. However, the BJP leader rued that the police are not paying any heed to his concerns. Jagjit Milkha said that he had submitted a complaint to the SSP regarding this, while also providing all the numbers of the vehicles which have been following him in the past few days. “Despite all this, the police have not taken any action. Police is not taking the threat seriously. I have also sent all the information to the SSP on his WhatsApp, but he has not seen that,” said Milkha claiming that he was not even given an appointment with the SSP when asked for. Milkha had contested the state assembly polls held early this year on a BJP ticket from Sardulgarh, but lost. He came to limelight when after Moosewala’s murder on May 29, Milkha filed a petition in the Supreme Court to transfer Moosewala murder case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on June 4.
