BJP leaders held 75 public meetings

Friday, 02 December 2022 | PNS | New Delhi

Over a dozen of BJP leaders including union ministers and MPs on Thursday held 75 public meetings and roadshows for the MCD polls  in the national capital. The leaders who campaigned on Thursday for the MCD polls include Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan and Dinesh Lal Yadav "Nirhua", Pushkar Singh Dhami, Narendra Singh Tomar and Shahnawaz Hussain and appealed the people to vote for the party.

Tiwari, Kishan and Nirhua alone held a total of 32 meetings and padyatras in Delhi and said that the people from Purvanchal today are the foundation of the city’s development. Addressing people at Badarpur constituency alongwith Leader of Opposition Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, BJP MP Ravi Kishan held AAP government responsible of ignoring purvanchali people in Delhi. Kisna accused that Kejriwal has mislead purvanchali people and now time has come to teach him a lesson.

Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the amount of support that the party is getting in the Municipal Corporation campaign this time shows that it is certain that the BJP will enter the corporation for the fourth time.

“He said that the people of Delhi have understood Arvind Kejriwal's corruption and false promises and that is why it is also discussed that if there is a competition of lying, Kejriwal will be on number one. Lying instead of development has become the routine of the Chief Minister of Delhi,” he said.

“BJP has always been respecting its workers and general public and seeing the way the crowd has gathered, it can be said without any doubt that on December 4, the lotus will once again blossom in the MCD,” said Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.
