Chhattisgarh shuttler and Commonwealth medallist Akarshi Kashyap reached the semi-final in the women’s singles badminton event on Tuesday in the 36th National Games in Gujarat.
Deputy Chef de Mission Rupendra Chouhan said that in the pre-quarters, Akarshi defeated Tansim Mir 21-17, 21-14.
Akarshi made it to the semi-finals by beating Neha Pandit 21- 14, 16-21, 21-18 in the quarter finals.
