The Marwari Yuba Manch and Jagruti Sakha, Bargarh, organised a two-day free cancer detection camp here. The camp was inaugurated by Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari.
A van equipped with a mobile laboratory and doctors and paramedical staff held diagnosis of the nearby residents on the inaugural day. Rajya Sabha MP Prasanna Acharya, MLA Debesh Acharya and Chairman Bargarh Municipality Kalpana Majhi were present as distinguished guests on the second day. The camp was run by the doctors and staff of Vikash Multi Specialist Hospital, Bargarh.
Advocate Mahesh Agrawal, the project director of the camp, said that the coverage of people would be more in such camps in coming days. Among others, Yuba Manch president Giridhari Agrawal, general secretary Sunil Agrawal, treasurer Pankaj Agrawal, Jagruti Sakha president Nisha Goel, general secretary Priyanka Sharma, treasurer Poonam Agrawal, project coordinator Sumit Sawadia, Sandip Gupta, Jaya Prakash Lath and Giridhar Agrawal were present.
