Punjab Lok Congress vice president Jai Inder Kaur, daughter of former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, on Sunday took to the campaign trail for BJP candidate Kewal Singh Dhillon.
Joining Dhillon for his public meetings, Jai Inder said that the people of Punjab, especially Sangrur, have come to realise AAP’s real face. “In last three months, there has been more number of incidents related to law and order than in the past two years,” she said.
Continuing her attack on AAP, she said: “AAP, led by Bhagwant Mann, has proved itself to be a complete failure in handling Punjab's law and order situation. Punjab needs a strong and stable leadership, and right now, only BJP can provide that. BJP is in power at the Centre and they can also help us in bringing major projects for the people of Sangrur.”
