Chendru the ‘Tiger Boy’ is CTB memento

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday unveiled a statue of ‘Chendru’ and his tiger friend Tembu as the memento mascot of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board.

Baghel also released the ‘Talking Comics’ to connect children with tourism at Tourism Conclave                organized to mark the World Tourism Day here.

Chendru and Tembu are depicted as tourism icons in the comic.

He also released a video of the state song based on ‘Kathak Bhava’ and a coffee table book featuring tourist places in the state. The book has information about all the tourist places of the state. It can be used as a tourist guide.
