Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has extended best wishes to all the elderly people on International Day of Elderly Persons. Expressing his sentiments on social media, Chouhan said that our elders show the right direction to the society and the new generation with their experiences and strengthen the foundation of relationships in the family.
Love and respect towards them is necessary and it is our responsibility to look after them. CM has appealed to the people of the state on International Day of Elderly Persons to take a pledge to serve the elderly with dedication and make their lives happy. On International Day of Elderly Persons, Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department in collaboration with Department of AYUSH, Helpage India and Senior Citizens Forum has organised a ceremony.
