Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday said that honouring the families of martyrs is an emotional moment and everyone is proud of those who sacrificed their lives for the country.
He was addressing a function here to honour the families of martyrs in the state.
The Chief Minister said the martyrs have sacrificed everything on the path of duty. So, it is the state's responsibility to take care of their families.
Addressing their family members, Baghel said: "You do not need to worry, you are all part of our family."
Baghel honoured the families of then Superintendent of Police of Rajnandgaon V.K. Choubey, Major Satyapradeep Dutta, Additional Superintendent of Police Bhaskar Diwan, Principal Constable Hira Singh Nishad, Lt Pankaj Vikram, Inspector Dushyant Singh, Sub-Inspector Yugal Kishore Verma, Assistant Sub-Inspector Kaushalesh Singh, Chiranjeev Baghel, Head Constable Sanjay Yadav, Constable Shri Ramkumar Sahu, Lt. Arvind Dixit, Lt. Vedprakash Yadav, Lt. Rajiv Pandey, Head Constable Praful Shukla, Constable Jhaduram Verma, Constable Khilanand Sahu and Constable Dhanraj Motghare.
