DC holds review meeting for 3rd phase of polls

Under the chairmanship of District Election Officer (Panchayat)-cum-Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna, a review meeting was held on Thursday to review the preparations for the third phase of polling in Kudu and Senha blocks under the three-tier Panchayat (Common) Election, 2022.

Law and order related review was first done in the meeting. In this, the instructions were given to the Block Development Officers and Station House Officers to take appropriate action.

The personnel cell was directed to timely complete the training of all deputed polling personnel, deputation of appropriate number of polling and counting personnel for the third phase of polling. The personnel cell was directed to better train the counting personnel.

In the first phase, the Personnel Cell and Material Cell were praised by the Deputy Commissioner for doing better and the next phase was also directed to be completed in a better way.

In the meeting, all the cells including Election Cell, Accounts and Nazarat Cell, Counting Cell, Ballot Box Cell, Material Cell, Voter List Division Cell, Vehicle Cell, Media Cell were reviewed by the Deputy Commissioner.

In today's meeting, Superintendent of Police R Ram Kumar, Sub-Divisional Officer Arvind Kumar Lal, Sub-Divisional Police Officer BN Singh, all Block Development Officers, all Circle Officers, all station in-charges, senior/in-charge officers of all Cells and others were present.
