A health camp was organised by the Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL)’s Kapilas Cement Manufacturing Works (KCMW) plant in Cuttack, in association with its occupational health centre, ‘Sanjeevani.’
The camp included a number of healthcare facilities provided through its Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) and covered 31 villages in Cuttack and 15 villages in Jajpur to benefit over 11,000 community residents.
Some of the healthcare services being offered included OPD facilities, emergency services – 24x7 to manage medical emergencies, first aid provisions for minor injuries and referrals as well as ambulance services to the higher centre in severe or critical cases. The medical institutes that provided support to DCBL in the initiative were Cure Well Laboratories, Cuttack and Subham Diagnostics, Cuttack.
“At Dalmia Cement Bharat, we have always believed in working collaboratively so that we are able to prioritise the well-being of the people and, at the same time, alleviate health-related sufferings of the underprivileged within the communities we operate it,” said Deputy Executive Director and Unit Head, KCMW, DCBL Bhavesh Wala.
