Haryana Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Rajeev Arora on Friday said that drug menace needs to be dealt with a ‘holistic approach’ for which the Haryana Government is taking affirmative measures. For this, the State Government will be increasing the number of drug de-addiction centres, presently 12, and soon every district will have such centres with adequate staff, he added. Arora said this during a seminar on ‘Preventing Drug Abuse’ held on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking as the Chief Guest here today after lighting the traditional lamp. Arora shared that the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Home Minister Anil Vij are closely monitoring the steps being taken to control the drug menace.
