The Election Commission of India on Saturday directed the transfer of district magistrates/district election officers of three districts and superintendents of police of two districts.
The DMs of Firozabad, Kanpur Nagar and Bareilly and SP of Firozabad and Kaushambi have been removed.
Chief Electoral Officer of UP, Ajay Kumar Shukla, said Suryapal Gangwar would be the new DM of Firozabad, Shivakant Dwivedi would be the new DM of Bareilly and Neha Sharma would take over as DM of Kanpur Nagar.
Ashish Tewari, Commandant SSB Lucknow, will be the new district police chief of Firozabad in place of Ashok Kumar. Hemraj Meena, SP Special Task force Lucknow will be the new SP of Kaushambi district in place of Radhey Shyam who has been attached to DGP Headquarters.
