An event of Evergreen Songs Yaari Hai Imaan Mera was held at State Museum on Sunday.
The event was organized by Sursaz Musical Group, Bhopal, based on the evergreen film songs titled "Yaraane", conceptualized and organized by Sajid Premi. Music coordinator was Gyanendra Sharma.
The auditorium was full of music lovers. Gyanendra Sharma performed the title song "Yari Hai Iman Mera, Yaar Meri Zindagi" from Zanjeer.
Kishore Kumar's singles “Dilbar Mere”, “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas”, “Jaane Jaan Dhundta Phir Raha Hoon”, “Chehre Hai Ya Chand Khila Hai”, “Challa Jaata Hoon Kisi Ki Dhun Mein”, “Tere Chehre Se Nazar”, “Aankhon mein Kajal Hai”, “Jaanu Meri Jaan Main Tere Qurbaan”, Mahesh Rupani, Yogendra Srivastava sang solo songs and Rupali Bagde, Mukta Prakhar, Asha Dwivedi performed in duets.
Two songs of Geeta Dutt, “Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu” and “Piya Aiso Jiya Mein Samay Gayo Re” were sung by Farhat Khan, known as Shamshad Baigum of Bhopal. Presented the song “Tere Mere Hoton Pe” Jaane Man Jaane Man Tere Do Nayan” duet with Gyanendra Sharma. Muk Prakhar presented two songs of Lata Mangeshkar. She performed a duet with her husband Anupam Saxena in “Yeh Dil Aur Unki Nigahan Ke Saaye”, “Meri Jaan Meri Jaan” “Jo Hum Tum Chori Se”. "O Sajna Barkha Bahar Aai" by Rupali Bagde and "Rimjhim Ke Geet Sawan Gaye" by Sanjay Sharma and Lovely Sharma and Gyanendra Sharma composed Mukesh's famous song "Barkha Rani Zara Jam Ke Barso" by Tapas Guha in R.D. Burman's song "Saamandar Mein Naha Kar Aur Bhi Namkeen" gave a special presentation of the songs of rain.
Together the artists mesmerized the audience with their spontaneous performance. The entire hall was seemed lost in the soulful Bollywood music. It was a wonderful experience for all the music lovers.
