Extremists set JCB on fire in Ranchi District

Suspected extremists set fire to a JCB machine engaged in the work of railway track expansion and tried to burn the generator kept near the vehicle. The incident took place near Chattinadi in McCluskieganj police station area of Ranchi district late on Sunday night.

 

A company named KEC is doing the work of railway track expansion work. The Maoist squad reached the workplace late on Sunday night. It was raining heavily at that time. Due to which other items kept at the workplace were saved from burning.

 

However, the Naxalites had come prepared and prepared to do a lot of damage to the company. The police got information about the incident on Monday morning. After which the police reached the spot. The police is investigating the matter.

 

The security guards working in the company were assaulted by the Naxalites. The Naxalites told the guard that the work was started without paying levy. That is why the incident has been carried out. Till we do not get the levy, the work will be stopped. There was only one guard at the workplace at the time of the incident. A guard had gone on leave. After assaulting the guard, the Maoists set the JCB on fire. It was raining at the time of the incident. Due to this, only the cabin of the JCB was burnt. The rest of the machine parts of JCB were saved from burning.
