The first three day surveillance audit of ISO 9001:2015 QMS (Quality Management System) issued at Bokaro Steel Plant was conducted by Anoop Dutta (Team Leader) and Shubhanjan Banerjee (Member) of M/s BSI. Senior officers of the concerned departments were present in the opening meeting of the audit. In the beginning Anupama Tiwari, General Manager (BE) welcomed the auditors and all the officers present, after that Anoop Dutta explained in detail about the audit plan and requirements of the auditee departments. The auditors in this audit program which lasted for three days audited RMHP, CO & BPP, SMS-2 & CCS, HRCF, RMP, I&A, ETL, Steel Foundry, Structural Shop, PPC & SC, RCL, MM (Purchase) and MR functions departments .
In the closing meeting of the audit, CGM (Management Services) PK Deva, CGM (Electrical) Ved Prakash, CGM (Shops) JV Shekhar, other senior officers, all auditors, officers of BE department and System Resource Persons of the auditee departments were present. During the meeting, Anoop Dutta presented his observations related to the audit.
P Deva thanked the auditors for the successful conduct of the audit and expressed his commitment towards implementation of all the improvement points suggested by them. Anoop Dutta recommended continuation of ISO 9001:2015 QMS certificate for Bokaro Steel Plant for one more year. Anupama Tiwari thanked all the system resource persons for their support and cooperation for the successful conduct of the audit. The entire audit program conducted by the Business Excellence Department of BSL was coordinated by B. Banerjee, General Manager (BE).
