Four lower rung Naxalites have surrendered to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district, police said on Wednesday.The Naxalites were identified as Hadma Ram Madavi (40), Sukka Madavi (38), Mukka Batti (35) and Haruma alias Gukesh (32), Dantewada CRPF Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations) Vinay Kumar Singh said.
The first two were active as DAKMS members and other two were militia members in the Fulpad Area Committee of the outlawed CPI (Maoist).The cadres will be provided facilities as per the government’s surrender and rehabilitation policy, he added.
