Singh said that India’s identity is based upon its civilisation, culture and Ayurveda. “We are moving forward towards becoming the Vishwaguru once again and Patanjali also appears to be playing a leading role in this,” said the governor. Pantanjali’s vision incorporates ideas like self reliant India, intellectual property and artificial intelligence which are the requirements of the present times. The release of 75 books on Ayurveda at a time when the nation is celebrating the 75th anniversary of independence is a unique feat, said Singh.

Ayurveda is a heritage which can facilitate the welfare of the whole world, he said. “The whole world adopted principles of Ayurveda during the Covid pandemic and benefitted from it. Ayurveda is a complete science which is acknowledged across the world now,” said Dhami. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the CM appreciated how his efforts have resulted in June 21 being celebrated as international yoga day across the world. He reiterated his commitment to work towards making Uttarakhand one the leading States of India by 2025.
