On the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra, Governor Ramesh Bais and Chief Minister Hemant Soren reached Jagannath Temple at Dhurva, Ranchi on Friday and duly offered prayers to Lord Jagannath, his Sister Subhadra and brother Balabhadra. The Governor prayed for the happiness, prosperity, peace and progress of the country and the State by offering prayers and darshan of Mahaprabhu Jagannath. The Governor said that today I had the privilege of offering prayers at the feet of Lord Jagannath, Brother Balabhadra and Sister Subhadra with proper chanting. May Lord Jagannath shower his blessings on all. He extended his best wishes to the people of the state for Rath Yatra.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, while wishing happiness, prosperity and healthy life of the people of the State to Mahaprabhu Jagannath, extended his greetings and best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Rath Yatra. The Chief Minister prayed to Mahaprabhu Jagannath that the blessings of the Lord remain on everyone and Jharkhand should attain new heights of development. On the occasion, Pandit Rajeshwar and Madan duly completed the work of worship.
On this occasion, MP Sanjay Seth, former MP Subodh Kant Sahay, MLA Naveen Jaiswal, MLA Rajesh Kachhap, first servant of Jagannath Temple Sudhanshu Nath Shahdev and other dignitaries and a large number of devotees were present.
