Haryana Board announces Class X result, Ashima from Bhiwani tops exam

The Haryana Board of School Education on Friday announced the result of Class X. Overall, 73.18 per cent of students passed the examination. While the pass percentage of girls was recorded at 76.26 per cent, boys’ passing percentage came out to be 70.56 per cent. Ashima of Ishwarwal village in Bhiwani district topped the exam by securing 499 marks out of 500.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar congratulated all the students who have passed Class X and wished them a bright future. Khattar said, “It is a matter of great pleasure that our daughters are consistently bringing better results. Out of the 9 students who stood first, second and third place, 8 are daughters. Girls are constantly illuminating the name of the country and the state in every field.”

Haryana School Education Board spokesperson said the examinations were conducted in March-April-2022. The Haryana Board of School Education had cut the syllabus by 30 percent due to Covid-19. Objective questions of 40 marks and subjective questions of 40 marks were asked in these exams. 20 marks were kept for additional evaluation. This result has been made available on the Board's website www.bseh.org.in from Friday evening.

Last year in 2021, there was 100 percent result due to Covid, before that in 2020 it was 64.59 percent, in 2019 it was 57.39 percent and in the year 2018 it was 51.16 percent.

Ashima secured the first position by scoring 499 marks. Sunaina of Bhandwa village of Charkhi Dadri, Khushi of Uchana Mandi of Jind and Manju of Sishmore of Kaithal secured the second position by securing 497 marks. Suhani of Halalpur, Sonipat, Reena of Bithmadla, Hisar, Lavkush of Madanheri, Hisar, Himashi of Shivnagar, Hisar and Himani of village Mandhana in Bhiwani district secured the third position by scoring 496 marks.
