Extending heartfelt congratulations to the people of the Sikh community of Haryana on the Supreme Court’ decision to constitute a separate Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee for Haryana, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday said that soon, a commission or authority will be constituted and after that the election of Haryana Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee will be conducted.
“The issue of separate Gurdwara Management Committee for Haryana was long pending in the Supreme Court,” said the Chief Minister, who on Sunday bowed his head at Gurudwara Pehli Patshahi, Panipat, and Gurudwara Israna Sahib.
He said that after this decision, all 52 Gurdwara Sahib in the State will work under the supervision of this Committee and will continue to serve the society through their selfless service. He appealed to the present Sadh Sangat to collectively select the committees for the purpose of rendering service to the society.
