Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday made a slew of announcements during his day-long trip to Kutru and Aavapalli in the Bijapur assembly constituency.
It was the second day of a public interaction drive (Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan) which started from the Konta constituency of Bastar division on Wednesday.
He announced opening of a Swami Atmanand English Medium School in Kutru, a new high school building, a sports ground in Gram Panchayat Addavali, a Community Health Centre in Kutru, a primary health centre at Bedre, a cooperative bank (Kutru), upgrading Jaivaram Primary School to Middle School, a government college (Kutru), a new paddy procurement center (Farsegarh) and a mini stadium in Kutru.
Similarly, the Chief Minister announced upgrading the Aavapalli, Palmed and Basaguda Primary Health Centre (PHC) as a Community Health Centre. A new PHC will come up at Pallaguda and a sub-health centre at Sankan Palli.
He pledged to electrify the villages of Sitapur, Chatlapalli, Pegadapalli, Hirapur (Buchhipara), Pusguri, Pakela, Dharmavaram, Chidpalli, Gunjeparti, Pujarikanker, Malampetan, Chutwahi, Kodampalli and Tarrem.
Aavapalli will have a new rest house, the High School Murkinar will be upgraded to Higher Secondary School and the Middle School Modakpal into high school, a paddy procurement centre at Palmed, a new building for a secondary school at Murdanda and a mini stadium at Aavapalli, he said.
