The IFFCO, Paradeep unit has donated a battery-driven vehicle to the Jagannath Temple in Puri. The vehicle’s management has been given to social organisation Centre for Action (CFA), Puri.
The vehicle is meant for devotees who are elderly or handicapped persons, for whose hassle-free and pleasant darshan. The facility will be offered without any fees.
Besides, in collaboration with the CFA, the IFFCO has been providing free cooked meals to devotees during the Rath Yatra. This service started a day before the festival and will continue till the Bahuda Yatra. The IFFCO has opened a stall on the Bada Danda to provide cooked meals three times a day to the devotees. The stall and the battery vehicle were inaugurated by IFFCO, Paradeep director KJ Patel.
