The 2008 batch IFS Hari Shankar Mishra has been suspended after he failed to abide by orders issued by the Department of Forest, Madhya Pradesh to take charge of Conservator of Forest (Planning Unit) Seoni. Earlier Mishra lost his appeal against posting as Forest Conservator Planning Unit Seoni when Capital Project Authority was diluted where he was on deputation.
The orders of posting were issued on July 28, 2022 and on which Mishra challenged the posting in the High Court and on August 24 court ordered state for resolution on speaking order.
The state government following the order of court issued orders of posting of Mishra on September 12 as Forest Conservator Planning Unit Seoni and asked him to take charge and inform administration regarding the same but he failed to abide by the rules. After this, Principal Secretary Atul Mishra issued orders for Mishra's suspension.
