The NDMC on Wednesday approved the implementation of the Centre’s flagship Ayushman Bharat Pradhanmantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) scheme in New Delhi area.
It has also directed preparation of a detailed report on the beautification of the area ahead of the G20 summit next year. NDMC Vice-Chairman, Satish Upadhyay said: “The G20 Summit will be held in New Delhi next year and the municipal council should enhance the beauty of the area. For the purpose, we suggested making of a comprehensive detailed report consisting maintenance, repair, beautification like the Commonwealth Games projects.”
The decision was taken in the council meeting held on Wednesday during which several citizen and employee-centric proposals were tabled.
