As per reports, Shikha, wife of jeweller Lalit Verma, and her son, Digvanshu, were at their home at Surendra Nagar in Kwarsi police station area while the couple's two daughters had gone to a kin's place on Wednesday night.

On Thursday evening, some relatives of Shikha went to meet her at her home but when no one responded, they decided to enter the premises.
