Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday said that the areas where land is required for developmental projects should be taken through e-bhoomi portal so that the pending projects are completed soon and the public is benefitted. He asked the officers concerned that other than written correspondence they should inspect the spot regarding such projects and submit the report with immediate effect so as to ensure speedy implementation of the schemes.

Khattar was presiding over a meeting organised today regarding the implementation of Chief Minister's Announcements made in the districts during his visits. He said that so far, 9,128 announcements have been made out of which 5947 have been commissioned.  Apart from this, work is in progress on 1445 announcements and 1359 announcements are pending on which work will be started at the earliest. He directed the officers concerned to identify the site for construction of Indian Heroes and Warriors memorial at Kala Amb in Panipat and Sikh Museum in Kurukshetra and submit a report in two days.

The Chief Minister said that a policy should be formulated after conducting a survey to regularize the shops along roads. The Chief Minister was reviewing the announcements made for shops on Shahbad Road and Barwala Road in Kurukshetra. The officials apprised the Chief Minister that permission is granted to build guest houses around the residential area.  For this, an application has to be submitted on the portal of the department.
