Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla visited the Shri Panchdashanam Juna Akhada on Monday. He said that on the first day of Navratri, he had the good fortune of worshipping goddess Maya Devi and Bhairav Baba in Haridwar. Birla said that he had prayed to the goddess for the welfare and happiness of the people and country. He said that he had prayed to Maya Devi for happiness and prosperity in the lives of the underprivileged.
During his visit, he also participated in Chhadi Pooja and wished for the success of the Chhadi Yatra to be started by the Juna Akhada on October 9. The Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad general secretary Mahant Hari Giri, international president of the Akhada Mahant Prem Giri and others were also present on the occasion.
