A man in the age group of 30-years was found hanging dead with a fan in Sampark Kranti Express at Mandideep station on Wednesday; police suspect a man committed suicidee between Bhopal and Mandideep railway stations in the wee hours.
As soon as the man was found hanging from the fan at Mandideep station, the station master stopped the train at the station and informed the GRP police. The train stopped at the station for about one and a half hours while the police arrived and took action. GRP Habibganj took the man to the hospital and started an investigation.
GRP Habibganj station in-charge Mahendra Singh Somvanshi said that information was received from Mandideep station master that a man was hanging from the fan of train number 12652 Sampark Kranti Express. On the basis of information, the police reached the spot, reached coach D4 of Sampark Kranti Express and found that a man was found hanging from the fan.
The man was in the age group of 30 years. During investigation, the police got a ticket and driving license from Bhopal to Nagpur from his pocket. From this it was revealed that the youth was sitting with a ticket from Bhopal to Nagpur.
He must have hanged himself by hanging from the fan between Bhopal and Mandideep. Sampark Kranti Express departs at around 4.20 am from Bhopal. The man might have carried out the fan incident between Bhopal and Mandideep. At that time coach D4 had 6-8 passengers.
