Married woman, paramour tied to pole, thrashed

In what can be said as justice in a Kangaroo court, villagers assaulted a married woman and her lover and painted their faces black and white by tying them to an electric pole while they were gossiping in a lonely place.

 

According to sources, a middle-aged woman,who is mother of two college going children of Jagulaipada village under Derabish police limit had developed an extra marital affairs with a married person.

 

On Wednesday, while the duo was gossiping at a secluded place, some fellow villagers nabbed them, tied them in an electric pole and assaulted them after painting their faces in black and white ink.They were later released as the paramour of the woman deposited a fine.

 

The video of the whole episode went viral on Thursday in social media. Notably, the woman had also fled with another married person by leaving her children and husband and stayed with the person for some days.  However, only three days back she had returned home. The person disappointed with the woman deserting her had made an attempt to commit suicide.
