Former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati on Saturday targeted the government over rising inflation and unemployment.
In a tweet, she said that in the helpless life of poverty and backwardness prevailing in the country, inflation and unemployment added more trouble. Mayawati said that instead of answering this question of the public and finding solutions, the ruling party leaders remained silent. “Why so?” she asked.
She said in her second tweet that flour had also become very expensive in a year and its price had reached about Rs 37 per kg. “Due to this there is restlessness, frustration and despair among the people. In such a situation, the biggest demand of the time is for the government to leave its carelessness and negligence etc.,” she said.
In her third tweet, Mayawati said that in a country with a huge population like India, the disturbing poverty, unemployment, inflation, etc., which were prevalent for years, were no longer the real political and electoral concerns. She said that the government needs to find a suitable solution for this.
