Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has given a clean chit to the MLAs who have been accused of molesting a woman traveling in the train.
In the meeting of the Congress Disciplinary Committee held in the PCC, the complaint against both the MLAs has been given a clean chit considering allegations as false. Chandraprabhash Shekhar, Ajita Bajpai were present in the meeting chaired by former minister Bharat Singh, chairman of the Congress Disciplinary Committee.
Congress's organisation in-charge Chandraprabhash Shekhar said that a total of 88 complaints have been discussed in the meeting of the disciplinary committee today. Show-cause notices have been given to 44 such workers against whom complaints have come.
Action for expulsion has been taken against 5 workers for serious complaints and not getting their satisfactory answers. Disciplinary committee chairman Bharat Singh said that after the urban body elections, the disciplinary committee had received many complaints.
There was a discussion about them today. Those who have worked against the party have been recommended for expulsion. Chandraprabhash Shekhar said that those who have been given notices or who have been expelled, if they apologise in writing and give an assurance that in future they will not work beyond party lines, can be pardoned.
Prima facie the matter of harassment by MLAs shows that the complaint is false and there is no evidence against the MLAs.
The Congress Committee is satisfied with the reply given by our MLAs to the PCC. There is no proposal to take action against MP Congress Committee MLAs. After registering the case with the police, this matter is now in court.
