Under its unique initiative “MTI Aapke Dwaar” Management Training Institute (MTI) under the guidance of Sanjeev Kumar, ED (HRD), SAIL, MTI has adopted the quintessential Customer Service culture by serving all SAIL plants and Units at their doorstep by her innovative programs. In this sequel 2 programs at ISP Burnpur and Central Marketing Organisation (CMO), Kolkata have already being held and the rest activities are in pipeline.
The session with CMO was chaired by V.S. Chakravarthy, Director (Commercial) and attended by M.C. Agrawal, ED (Sales & ITD), S. Agarwal, ED(Marketing), D. Kumar ED (Marketing Services) , M. Bose, ED (Logistics & Import) and Bijaya Misra, CGM(P&A) among other senior Executives of CMO.
V.S. Chakravarhty, Director (Commercial), in his address, stressed on need to create an ecosystem where there is no fear of failure. He urged the Executives of CMO to take up new challenges and be unafraid of failure.
In his opening address, Sanjeev Kumar, emphasized on the need for SAIL to gear up to the requirements of Industry 4.0 to reap the benefits of Fourth Industrial Revolution. He reiterated that SAIL must adopt Digital Technologies to remain competitive. He also showed the roadmap to how SAIL must strive to be a part of the World Economic Forum’s prestigious ‘Global Lighthouse Network’.
