On the initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, hundreds of girls from Khunti parliamentary constituency have got employment opportunities in Tata Electronics Limited, a Tata group company. These girls are from Khunti, Tamar, Simdega, Chaibasa and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts.

About two thousand intermediate pass girls from these districts have been selected for Tata Electronics' Hosur (Tamil Nadu) plant. Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda will flag off the special train for Hosur from Hatia railway station on September 27 at 12 noon. Senior officials and dignitaries of the ministry will be present on the occasion.

It is noteworthy that Tata Electronics had recently conducted interviews of Inter Passed girl students by setting up camps in Khunti, Simdega, Chaibasa and Seraikela. Thousands of girl students participated in the camp. The first batch of selected girl students is going to Hosur by special train tomorrow.

Khunti MP cum Union Minister Arjun Munda said that migration for employment in these areas is a big problem. Most of the traffic comes from this area. Therefore, talking to the high officials of the Tata group, there was talk of providing employment with skill development to the inter pass girls.

The Union Minister said that the company will give jobs to these girls after giving training for one year. During the training they will be provided necessary facilities by the company. This is a great opportunity for girl students to join the Tata group.
