A national Lok Adalat is to be held on May 14 in Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon district for the amicable settlement of pending cases in various courts, it was announced on Friday.
The Lok Adalat will be organised virtually as well as physically for the ease of people in 39 courts including district, tehsil and revenue courts in the district, an official communication said.
Apart from the 1,100 cases pending in Rajnandgaon district court, 2,391 pre-litigation cases and more than 5,037 revenue related cases will also be taken up, it said.
