Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday purchased the first ticket of the ‘FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela’.
Hockey India President Dilip Tirkey met the CM at the latter’s residence and presented him the ticket. Tirkey received a currency note of Rs 500 from Patnaik.
The international sporting event will be held from January 13 to 29, 2023 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela.
The online sale of tickets for the Hockey World Cup will commence soon. Fans have been advised to pre-register their interest for buying tickets by visiting https://fih.formstack.com/forms/world_cup_tickets_pre_registration.
