Asish Chakraborty assumed charge today as ED (SSO). He is a graduate in metallurgy from NIT, Jamshedpur in 1987. Born & brought up in Rourkela, he joined RSP in 1987 in pipe Plant, (second generation in SAIL), elevated to DGM In-charge (PIPE PLANT) in 2017 and subsequently promoted as CGM (Quality), RSP in 2019. Thereafter, he joined Alloy Steels Plant, Durgapur in January 2020 as CGM I/c (WORKS). He is the recipient of the prestigious Jawahar Award.
XISS appoints new HoPs of four Programmes
Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi appointed new Head of Programmes (HoPs) of its four ongoing programmes on Tuesday. The new HoPs are Dr Shyamal Gomes for PGDM (Human Resource Management), Dr Anant Kumar for PGDM (Rural Management), Dr Bhaskar Bhowani for PGDM (Financial Management), and Dr Bhabani Prasad Mahapatra for PGDM (Marketing Management) respectively. Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur, Director, XISS, congratulated the new HoPs on their new positions and said, “I am grateful to the outgoing HoPs for their dedication and commitment towards the Institute during their tenure. They have helped the Institute to scale high and achieve milestones during the path. I am excited to welcome the new Heads take up the responsibilities during these tough times and wish to see them continue the legacy.”
BOI Celebrates Yoga Day
On the occasion of 8th International Day of Yoga Bank of India, Hazaribag Zone celebrated yoga day with all the staff members of Bank of India on the premises of the Zonal Office of Bank of India. Yoga session was organized under the guidance of Archana Chaurasia. Archana told the employees how a person can improve his/her lifestyle through yoga and how we can stay free from stress. The Bank's staff members enthusiastically participated in the Yoga session showing special interest. On this occasion, Bank of India's Zonal Manager VV Krishna Kishore said that yoga should be included in the daily routine as well as keep doing yoga to keep oneself energetic and motivated. Deputy Divisional Manager of Bank of India Rajesh Kumar Bais said in his address that one should keep doing yoga to keep oneself energetic and motivated. Assistant General Manager Rajesh Singh, Assistant General Manager Bhupendra Narayan Singh along with many Chief Managers and all the officers and employees were also present in this occasion.
