Blood donation camp at GPO, Doranda

 

A Blood Donation Camp was organised in the office premises of Head Post Office, Doranda, Ranchi. The camp was inaugurated by Rakesh Kumar, Chief Post Master General, Jharkhand. On this occasion, the Chief of Posts, Jharkhand, Sanjeev Ranjan, Director Postal Services, Jharkhand, Ram Vilas Choudhary and other officers and employees of the Department of Posts were present. “Swachhta Pakhwada” is being organized from 17.09.2022 to 02.10.2022 in the Department of Posts under the Ministry of Communications. Various activities are being organized during this Swachhta Pakhwada. Under this, “Blood Donation Camp” was organized in collaboration with Nagarmal Modi Seva Sadan, Ranchi. About 100 officers and employees of the postal department donated blood in this camp. This contribution of postal workers will be useful in saving lives of people.

 

Speech competition in RRD

 

Rajbhasha Pakhwada is being celebrated in Ranchi Railway Division from 14 September 2022 to 28 September 2022. Under this, a speech competition was organized on Tuesday on the topic "Role of self-employment in the new era". Group-C employees enthusiastically participated in this competition organized for the employees of the board. The winner of the competition has been selected by Sr DPO Manik Shankar, Sr DCM cum CPRO Nishant Kumar and ACM cum Official Language Officer Sanjay Kumar. In this competition, Office Superintendent of Operations Department, Sapna Kumari got first place, Chief Commercial Inspector of Commerce, Sandeep Kumar got second position and Senior Section Engineer of Electricity Department, Aarti Kumari got third place.
