Thursday, 23 June 2022 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

After continuous complaints of frauds and mismanagement, the recognition of more than 200 nursing colleges in the state has been cancelled. The department had got the investigation done on the orders of the Technical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang and has found violation of rules by these colleges.

Technical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang said that this sector will be completely revamped. He further said that it will be ensured that there is complete transparency and adherence to the rules and regulations in this sector. It has been decided to close the nursing colleges which are running in a fake manner.

Technical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang said that we had decided to clean this area. Due to which this action has been taken. There were continuous complaints from nursing colleges for a long time. Thereafter the cases were investigated. Strict action has been taken on more than 200 nursing colleges after the allegations were found to be true in the investigation.

Minister Sarang said that no fraud will be allowed in the field of education. Fake nursing colleges will not be allowed to operate. Regarding the future of the students, the minister said “if the colleges were genuine, where are the teachers and where are the students. There will be no harm to the students. We will not allow any student to be harmed. ‘Mafiagiri’ will not work in education”.

There are brokers active in the fake nursing college network. There were constant complaints about the brokers doing misappropriation in admission. Admissions are given in one college and studies are conducted in another college. Similarly fees are being deposited in the name of some other college. Most nursing colleges have neither labs nor expert teachers.
