A total of 8,591 elderly persons benefited at the Siyan Jatan clinics organized at ‘Ayush’ Centers in Chhattisgarh, the Health Department said on Thursday.
The department in state had started free healthcare facility for those aged over 60 at ‘Siyan Jatan’ clinics every Thursday in Ayurvedic Colleges, District Ayurvedic Hospitals and at Ayush cells across the state.
Physical and mental ailment of elderly persons is treated at special OPDs.
