The Congress on Wednesday alleged that people were fed up with eight years of the Modi government.
PCC chief Mohan Markam said in a statement that Congress leaders and activists took to the streets in Delhi against the government's "attack on democracy".
"The people of country are fed up with the eight-year misrule of the Modi government and it is time to give the government a farewell."
The Congress will stand firm against the ‘dictatorial’ Modi government, he said.
