Non-resident Odia Indians like Prashant Bhuyan and Dhirendra Kar staying in the USA have urged to have a publishing house to universalise the Odia literature, heritage, culture of legendary Odias through publications.
"Shree Jagannath Swami", a book authored by Pandit Antaryami Mishra and published by the Prabhu Publications as its first, was unveiled by guests here on Sunday in a function and attended by over 200 personalities from the literature society and publishers’ fraternity.
Pandit Antaryami Mishra inaugurated the function and writers Jitendra Narayan Dash alias Dash Benhur and Asit Mohanty were chief guest and chief speaker, respectively.
Tremendous support for the publisher was witnessed as most of the litterateurs were willing to contribute their writings. Dhirendra Kar proposed a vote of thanks while CEO Saroj Bala of Prabhu Publications India chapter coordinated the function. Srilekha and Diptirekha felicitated the guests by offering shawls and saplings.
