Rahul Gandhi levels serious allegations on the BJP

Thursday, 24 November 2022 | Staff Reporter | bhopal

Unleashing a barrage of accusations in a public meeting on his first day of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi leveled serious allegations on BJP. On Wednesday, he made a scathing attack on Jyotiraditya Scindia and his supporters for the first time. He said that Congress had won the elections in Madhya Pradesh, formed the government, but BJP bought 20-25 corrupt MLAs with crores of rupees and came into power.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was addressing a gathering in Burhanpur on Wednesday evening. Here he made a big attack on Jyotiraditya Scindia and BJP in an aggressive manner. He directly targeted Operation Lotus in Madhya Pradesh. Rahul Gandhi also gave a big reason for starting the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

He said in the public meeting “all democratic avenues are closed, Lok Sabha is closed, the way of elections is closed, the way of press is closed, all other institutions have been held by the RSS and BJP minded people.  Judiciary has been put under pressure, forces are under pressure, so we have thought that there is no way left. Get on the road, hug the public. Listen to the farmers, listen to the labourers, listen to the small traders and go and meet them directly”.

Rahul said that we had not even imagined that the people of India would give so much power, so much love, so much support to this yatra. Rahul said that animosity is being created among the people, fear is being spread, stand against it.

He termed Burhanpur as the center of love for years. Referring to the crowd that were present in the meeting, he said that this is the message of love which we will take to Srinagar.
