The CBI conducted a raid on the house of Khordha Income Tax Officer Suman Sundar Sahoo.
The raid took place when Sahoo was being paid Rs 5 lakh from the Santi Jewellery. Sahoo had had demanded Rs 40 lakh from the jewellery firm, which had already paid Rs 10 lakh. He had again demanded Rs 10 lakh as Dussehra gift.
A five-member CBI team conducted the raid.
