Ranchi DC stresses on holding monthly coordination meeting

A review meeting of schemes related to the Health and Social Welfare Department was organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ranchi, Rahul Kumar Sinha.  During the meeting, Sinha directed all the in-charge medical officers and child protection officers to hold monthly coordination meetings of health and social welfare at the block level regularly.

District Social Welfare Officer, Civil Surgeon, District Malaria Officer, District Tuberculosis Officer, Ayush Medical Officer, all MOICs, District Program Manager NHM, District Coordinator Ayushman Bharat, all CDPOs and other concerned officials were present in the meeting organized in the DC Auditorium, Collectorate Block-A.

Displeasure was expressed by the DC for not making regular field visits by the CDPO. He said that all CDPOs should visit their respective areas regularly. He directed all CDPOs to definitely conduct field visits on VHSND Day.

In the meeting, Sinha directed to complete the Health Center and Sub Health Center and others under construction from the 15th Finance Commission within the prescribed time period. He said that the orders, directives received from the state/central level should be informed to the concerned officer, personnel in time.

While reviewing vaccination/institutional delivery, the DC directed to achieve 100 per cent achievement as per Due List. He said to ensure distribution of IFA Tablet and Calcium Tablet as per requirement. Along with this, he also directed to provide timely medicines to the people suffering from tuberculosis.

While reviewing the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Sinha said that work should be done seriously to give timely benefits of the scheme to the eligible people. He directed to achieve the target as per the target under Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.

During the meeting, DC directed to treat malnourished children by allotting beds to the female supervisor in the Malnutrition Treatment Center. He said that 100 per cent entry of beneficiaries should be ensured in the nutrition tracker.
