Uttarakhand Congress has again targeted the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party accusing it of attempts to polarise the electorate and has said that the real face of the party has got exposed. Reacting strongly to the statements made by the spokesperson of Uttarakhand BJP, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara has said that the Congress party has always condemned the politics of the BJP which is based on spreading anarchy and dividing the society in the name of religion. He said that the BJP leaders should tell the general public as why the recently arrested terrorist in Jammu and Kashmir is seen with the state president of BJP Ravindra Raina in the pictures that have gone viral. He said that the BJP should explain the relations it has with this terrorist who was the president of its IT cell. Mahara said that the Lashkar-e- taiba terrorist Talib Hussain is seen with union home minister Amit Shah in many pictures which raises important questions. “Jammu and Kashmir is very sensitive state where many agencies such as RAW, IB and NIA are active and in such a condition, the pictures of Shah with terrorists raise many questions,’’ he said.

The PCC president added that pictures of the murder of the Kanahiya Lal of Udaipur with former home minister of Rajasthan Gulab Chand Kataria have gone viral. Kataria had made this murderer, Riyaz, a member of BJP in the year 2019 which proves that he was an active worker of the BJP. He said that it appears that the Kanahiya Lal was murdered as part of a conspiracy. Mahara said that it is not the first time that the relations of the terrorists have been established with the BJP leaders.
