Friday, 14 January 2022 | Staff Reporter | RAIPUR

With Raipur witnessing the highest surge in Covid-19 cases on Thursday, Raipur Collector and District Magistrate Saurabh Kumar ordered curbs on the work force in all central government public sector establishments.

The guidelines state that the head of the department of all central government offices, public sector units, banks, post offices, insurance companies, income tax and other related offices will operate with 50 percent capacity from January 13, an official statement said.

The head of the department will have to make a separate roster for the employees.

The head of the office can allow his subordinate officer/employee to work from home. Officers and employees should not be called to the office if they have symptoms related to Covid-19.

The officer will also ensure there are no crowds in these offices.

It said that all officers and employees will use face masks, sanitizers. At the same time, it should be ensured that government work is not affected under any circumstances.

Another similar order has also been issued for state government and semi-government officers in Raipur district.

The attendance of all senior, second class and executive officers will be 100 percent.
