Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will lead the International Day of Yoga from the Konark Temple on June 21 where all Central Government institutions will participate along with public, students and experts. The programme at the Konark Temple will commence from 6 am to 8.30 am. About 2,000 participants are expected to join. Notably, the International Day of Yoga is being celebrated at 75 heritage sites across the country where Konark Temple has been nominated as one. Prime Minister Modi will also participate in the event from Mysuru through videoconferencing. This year the theme is 'Yoga for Humanity’.
