Action is going on continuously by the urban traffic police against the drivers who drive after drinking alcohol. From March, 2022 to October 2022, action has been taken against 1511 vehicle drivers and cases have been presented in the court. Total Rs 1.31 crore fine has been imposed by the court.

Along with this, a letter has been written to the District Transport Officer for suspension of the driving license of these drivers under the Motor Vehicle Act.
