RSCC holds presentation with Invest India Grid

The State Government and Ranchi Smart City Corporation (RSCC) are constantly making efforts to attract investors in the Ranchi Smart City area. In this sequence, during the first and second phase of e-auction, investors' meet has also been organized in many cities of the country and till now e-auction of total 10 plots has been done successfully.

In order to make the national and international level investors cooperative in the development taking place in this sector, the State Government officials invited the investors to invest in Jharkhand.

Representatives of more than 4 dozen different industrial houses of the Country along with Invest India Grid participated in the online conclave organized by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. On this occasion, Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary, Government of India Manoj Joshi, Joint Secretary Kunal Kumar and many other officials were associated.

RSCC General Manager (Technical), Rakesh Kumar Nandkyoliyar on behalf of RSCC through a powerpoint presentation, highlighted the specialties of Ranchi Smart City and the possibilities available here.

Invest India is a National Investment Promotion and Paisalization Agency developed by the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India. Under this program, investment cooperation and positive counseling are given to companies wishing to invest in various sectors of the Country.

The Urban Development Department hopes that RSCC will get the benefit of joining Invest India's campaign before the third phase of e-auction.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, Open Data Day was organized in all smart cities of the country on the initiative of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. A webinar was also organized by RSCC and Ranchi Municipal Corporation on Friday at the end of the week-long Open Data Week.

In this webinar, experts gave their opinion on the source of open data, its importance, its availability and others. RSCC GM, Nandkyoliyar welcomed the guests and said that Smart City Mission is continuously working on data compilation and data availability to the people in all cities.

On this occasion, Assistant Professor Xavier Institute of Social Services Ranchi, Bhabani Prasad Mohapatra as a keynote speaker, highlighted the importance of data from the definition of data to its collection, its use and especially in the direction of smart city. He said that during the Corona period, open data has made it very easy for various agencies to reach out to the people and provide them relief. He said that whether it is Central Government agencies or State Government agencies, data is available on many platforms for citizens, but it is necessary that people should be aware about the data and use it in a positive direction.
