Sudipta Panigrahi of Brahmapur was awarded as the first ‘Raja Queen’ at a function at the Rambha tourist cottage. The event also marked literacy activities, poem recitation, dance and music competitions organised by the Sindhu Urmi Pratishthan, Khallikote. Panigrahi was felicitated for propagating Odia culture. Among others, young dancer Priyanka Tripathy, athlete Manaswini Moharana, writer Basant Kumari Samanta and poet Jayanti Behera were presented with Raja Pratibha Award. The event was coordinated by Pratisthan president Sudhansu Sahu and convener Madhab Behera. The guests included writer Dr Rajendra Behera and Purna Chandra Rath, social worker Subash Panda, Sanjojana Pradhan and Dwarika Moharana.
